Friends forever is what we’d say,
Friends for life,
Is what we’d stay.

But now as time goes by,
I look at you and realize,
Something has changed.

I look into your eyes,
And I do not see the same,
I once gazed into while busy at play.

As I look into your eyes,
I fall more and more in love,
And I don’t know how this could be.

We were suppose to be friends forever,
But now I can’t stand the pain,
Of everyday looking into your eyes,
Falling more in love,
Knowing you don’t feel the same.
