I almost break down and cry
Everything between us
Seemed to disappear in the blink of an eye.
I just don't understand you
Or why you cause me so much pain.
All I wanted was your love,
But you were just too vein.
I should have seen right through you
Everyone told me about your tricks
But I got too lost in your eyes..
Even your smile gave me a temporary fix.
I think I understand now
Why all my friends tried to warn me.
They didn't want me to be alone
They just saw what I was too blind to see.
