I wish you had listened
I told you not to
But you just ignored me
You never listen to what I have to say
I told you not to drink and drive
To just stay over tonight
But NO you had to drive your friends home
And on your way you turned the corner to fast
You swerved and wrapped your car around a tree
Killing your friends, you, and a part of me
So now here I am sitting at your funeral
I have cried so many tears and will cry a lot more.
Because now I will never have you to hold.
I’ll never get to see you smile,
Or look into your soft green eyes.
I’ll never again get to hear your laugh
Or hear you speak the words I Love You.
If only you would have listen to me,
You would still be here
And so would our friends
And I would still be truly happy
Which I will never be again.

In Memory of my true love Jack. May you rest in peace my dear friend
