Kisses tasting of moonlight and fine red wine,
The sound and scent of you tickles down my spine.
Our bodies entangled, our skin is aflame,
Slowly I awaken as you speak my name.

Reaching for you, I feel only forlorn sheets.
Black truth sinks in as I find midnight deceits.
Sadness and longing quickly invade my soul.
Tears fall down my face as I fight for control.

Needing you to be lying here beside me,
Each moment we are parted is agony.
Heaven, time and the tides saunter slowly by.
Oceans miles apart, hearts sharing the same sky.
