How I strive
To make this life worthwhile
But how will I make it
If Im always in denial

How I strive
to find that perfection
And I will find
a perfect affection

How I strive
to find purpose for this life
or to take it away
at the edge of a knife

But If I don’t make it
Then I’ll strive on and on
For my lord has shown me the way
And in his love I’ve shone
