this pain is killing me
from the inside out
it makes me feel
that i must scream and shout

I want to cry
but i feel that i shouldn't
it can quickly pass
but i can tell that it wouldn't

this kind of hurt
will take time to heal
i want it to be over
but i'll just have to deal

today's not my day
neither will tomorrow
or the day after that
because i'm filled with sorrow

why can't something so small go away
and why must i go through this pain?
if others felt what i am feeling
then everyone would be going insane
