Wait Not Too Long

Til death splits me from you,
nothing will stop me from loving you.
With Death's strong hold on me,
the tears I cry
I cry only for you.
With breath I take
I grasp for your hands.
I long for the warmth I felt that one time when I was in your arms.
I pray for you to hold my hands with yours
so I can feel the comfort and safety I feel with you.
I would die for the day you will look into my eyes and mean it.
I wish you would hold me in your arms and never let me go,
telling me that you love me and you will never leave me.
I want to hold you and lay next to you.
I wait for that say when that love I feel for you will finally be returned.
I shall wait days on end for you.
This little hope I hold
holds me to life.
You felt something,
and I have always felt something, but yours just faded away.
Feelings do not just fade over night.
I hold on that one day
I might have my day with you
and that day will turn into a lifetime of love.
Til the day that I lose you,
you shall always have a piece of my heart.
You have me,
you can have me.
All you have to do is love me
and tell me you care.
All you have to do is want me.
Til the day ceom,
if it ever does
and in the deepest depth of my heart I do believe it will,
I shall wait for you.
But if I find someone,
with the love never as strong as it is for you,
I will go to them.
If you come to me,
and if I am with someone new,
wait for me and then I will know that you are true.
One day we might be together
and til that day I will always love you.
But wait not lone
because someone might steal me from you.
