Internal struggle
never letting out,
the fear inside,
drowning out a shout.

Needing so much to cry,
but pushing pain aside.
Not knowing why,
only that it all must hide.

Building up a wall,
hoping it remains strong.
Not letting light fall,
on all that remains wrong.

A new door opens,
someone looks in.
Nakedness,
as vulnerablity begins.

Trying hard to hide,
pushing feelings behind.
Someone points a finger,
making all be seen.

Numbness subsides.
