Holding You Forever

You were my everything
the one who made me whole
Then in an instant you vanished
taking a piece of my heart and soul

I wish that I could touch you one more time
but there’s no way to reach you
And when I feel like there’s nothing left
This one truth I hold onto

Even though I can’t see you
I hear a voice softly whisper
and a moment in time keeps us together
In my mind and in my heart
I will be holding you forever

The depth of my sadness
still remains unknown
If I could take fate’s anger away
Then I wouldn’t have to walk alone

I would give my life to hold you again
you’re my unfading memory
But there is one thing I’m sure of
You’re somewhere watching over me

Holding you Forever
That’s what I promised
that’s where I’ll be
Holding you Forever
Those sweet last words that you said to me
I’ll still be Holding you Forever
