You will never forget me
or the times where there was a we
You said your promise was true
You said " I Promise I will never forget you "
I remember and close my eyes
And try to forget all the lies
I promise myself not to cry
Nothing hurts so much as to try
Try to forget the times we had
Looking back makes the memories seem bad
I borke my promise, I began to cry
I doubt you even want to try
I saw you the other day, you passed me right by
I guess your promise was all a lie
Standing there alone, was so very cold
But i remembered I had to be bold
So I walked away
And pretended I was okay
