Holding onto a useless hope
hoping it never dies
but praying the hope becomes reality.
With time comeing close to the end
the hope begins to die.
Falling to an endless darkness
where the once strong hope
is faded and weak.
My dreams and wishes
now seem childish and false.
Laughing at burdon on my shoulders.
Mocking me with unknown strength.
Pushing me further to the egde of insanity.
Drawing me closer to the cliff,
wanting me to jump,
wanting me to push me to my eternal damnation.
Playing games with my mind.
Holding me, pushing me, dragging me.
Trying to make my fading mind die.
Opening doors but closing them in my face.
Leaving windows open but they are too small for me.
Torturing me, mocking me, tormenting my heart.
The clock ticks a little tune
tick, tock, tick, tock.
Counting down on my time.
Slowing down, speeding up.
Leaving me staring at the clock
with a frustration overbearing me/
Trying to surpress the anger,
trying to smoothe out everything in my mind,
trying to regain my sanity.
A bliss of happiness is carried just out of my reach.
The sounds of laughter adn glee
take me into a dark place into my mind.
The smiling faces mock me,
tormenting my very exsistant.
The tear of joy for one
become the tears of hate and sorrow for me.
The sense of love and care
tease me, telling me that I shall never feel it.
The burdons on my shoulders
grow heavier, forcing me to the ground.
I gasp for air,
but I can't find any.
My heart has stopped and my lungs have burst.
My mind has died and my body has given in.
No use fighting what has come,
come to take me out of my abandoned body,
That which has come to dry my love forgotten tear.
That which has come to cradle me til I am sleeping.
That which will finally let me sleep in peace.
That which will make
the useless, pain drawn hope,
finally disappear.
