Am I Here?

As he sits outside,
Visions of his love,
One who's beauty is that of a dove,
Running through his mind,

So love struck and innocent,
For a day without her is too hostile,
It is a day without a smile,
Gloomy and depressing.

What is it that she has and I don't,
Is it her long blonde hair,
or the clothes she wears,
How can I get him to notice me?

For I am another story,
Wanting something I can't have nor can I think,
So hard to blink,
I pretend to stare into space.

If only I had the chance,
To once more look at his face,
And come out of space,
Only to tell him that I love him.
