to you i need to ask
feeling the pressure and the fear
if your feelings are lies at last
many speak my name in vain
i've heard it all before
after all this time
i realized my feelings for you are more
do you feel like holding me
as if there is no tomorrow?
are you relieved when you see me
and say goodbye to sorrow?
i don't know how to express
my feelings toward you
you make me feel safe and happy
take my fear away too
a thousand pounding thumps
you're on my mind as i wait
i hope these mixed feelings are true
and i hope you are every breath i take
