Hardened,

stiff and unmovable,

can't bend but to break.

You're trapped inside yourself,

as transparent as glass to the experts.

They detect every fault and fracture,

every flaw and every tint.

The complexities of your self, your soul,

are so discernable to them,

so obvious, to label.

Impossible for you to mend.

Trapped inside the very walls of your being,

you are out of your element,

can't grow, can't change.

The only ones of value,

they are the rare, the pure,

who have no discernable fault.

Those like yourself are cast aside by the world.
