We met when we were six
and we've grown together
we said we would be friends
always and forever
But when we became freshmen
things started to change
you had made many new friends
our friendship would never be the same
I knew we were growing further apart
it seemed as though you didn't care
but I didn't want to lose your friendship
and you knew I would always be there
So as the school year ends
and we say our final good-bye's
we bump into each other
and you just stare me straight in the eyes
No words left your mouth
and none seemed to be leaving mine
I try to say something
and you just walk away
