When I first met you

I remember when I first met you,
I just knew you were the one.
I knew I would fall in love with you,
and you'd be second to none.

When we got together,
it was definately a rocky start.
But no matter what happened,
you never let go of my heart.

I didn't know what I was doing,
I never loved someone as much as I love you.
Even with past relationships,
I felt like it was new.

We vowed to love each other,
"until death do us part".
That was our begining,
That was our start.

We've had some laughs,
we've shed some tears,
we've been through a lot
in our five short years.

I'm a learning husband,
and I never claimed to be the perfect man.
But you are the greatest wife,
and you help me the best you can.

You are my best friend,
not only my wife.
Have I told you lately,
You are the love of my life!
