I thought you loved me...
God, how could that possibly be true?
watching you sit and stare at me,
while I just stare back at you.
It's like one huge contest,
who can look the longest, blink and once you do, you're gone forever
from sight.
I think about you non-stop, night after night, wondering if I'll ever
see you again, or you'll be just another one of them, fake and
heartless.
Or you'll be a dream, an illusion.
I'll just pretend your there and I'll see you in my puddle of
tears, maybe then you'll console my fears,
But for now I'm alone, dying, because you'll never be here.
