I知 waiting for a gunshot
To shoot away my tears
I知 waiting for my parents
To hug away my fears

I知 waiting for my best friend
To make me laugh and smile
All these things I知 waiting for
Are taking quite awhile

I知 waiting for my mind
To not argue with my heart
And realize from the boy I love
I soon will need to part

I知 waiting for our world
To at last
Make sense to me
But there are just so many things
That I can稚 seem to see
