Her name was Sammie;
she was fifteen years old.
She drank, did drugs, and hung with the wrong crowd;
finally, her mother put her out in the cold.

One night she was drinking;
thinking it was cool, and fun.
Until she came face to face;
with a single bullet and a gun.

They heard the gun fire;
and they tried to duck for cover.
But it was too late;
Sammie, was dead, along with another.

Her mother was terrified;
when she heard the news.
She fell to the floor, crying;
''why'' into a box of tissues.

Sammie was fifteen;
drank alcohol, and smoked pot.
But she is dead now;
and is never leaving that six foot under spot.

So next time you want to have fun;
thinking it's cool to drink and hang.
Realize what you're doing to yourself;
and why you're with that gang.
