A Life Story

A life, a story,
a brother, a friend.
you still can't reason why,
My journey had to end.

You try not to get angry.
Gee, how you've tried.
you've tried to see my anguish,
and the pain i felt inside.

But there is a certain stigma,
its something you wish you'd never heard,
you wish that it just wasn't possible,
you wish that there was no such word.

Because life can be a roller coaster,
most times its a bumpy ride,
but why did i have to get off,
and choose to suicide ?

I am such a beautiful girl,
I was the apple of your eye.
You loved me so very much,
but I also keep asking "Why ?"

You know that my life,
was cut way too short,
You've tried adding up the logic,
and at times it comes to naught.

I was always searching for something,
but you’re not quite sure what,
I did everything with a passion,
I gave it my very best shot.

And life is not forever,
time only goes one way,
and everyone will leave this earth,
everybody has that day.

And all that is ever left,
are the memories to hand,
to treasure against the tides of time,
like footprints in the sand.
