What Daddy Said

Her name was Annie;
she was eight years old.
One night her daddy touched her;
and said he'd punish her, if she told.

He crept into her room;
and sat down on her bed.
He said it'd be okay;
as he gently rubbed her head.

He trailed his fingers up her legs;
and she started to tear.
''no daddy'', is what she said;
as she panicked with fear.

He started to fondle her;
as he rubbed her head.
''This'll only hurt for a minute''
is what her daddy said.

He touched her spot;
until he was done.
She cried in agony;
while daddy had ''fun''.

As he finished;
he kissed, and rubbed her head.
''Be a good girl, and don't tell mommy'';
is what her daddy said.

He left the room;
Annie rolled over and cried.
She snuggled her teddy;
and thinking how she wishes, her daddy would die.

Although Annie never told;
she knew what her daddy did was wrong.
In fear that he'd come back;
she slept with all the lights on.
