Tonight's Last Kiss

Forfeit my soul and all my dreams
And memories that meant everything to me
Just to have one last chance, an opportunity to set it right
Hands caress your body, gently up and down
Delicate fingers send shivers up your spine
Your muscles tense and you become paralyzed
Until your senses come back and renew this life.

(Wait out time, your soul will shine
Bright and everlasting, your purity is mythical
But it's not right, my one last fight
Will be to resurrect you but sacrifice myself)

It seems that I missed my one last try
Timed out on your life as I
Curl up in a corner and wait to re-unite
With you is you all that matters
I'd kill and accept the charges
If you were sent away, I'd follow close behind
Because just the thought of losing you
Forces thoughts of suicide.

Stirred I find you here in my arms
My worries are settled and fears put to rest
And as we lay down I'll give you
Tonight's last kiss.
