Black Rose

A gentle black rose
Swaying in the breeze
Its peals caressing
The cold dark earth below
Blood droplets
Slowly dripping out of the thorn
As I should know
I dragged the thorn
Underneath my nails
In such a poetic way
I felt the thorns pain
As it felt mine
People never think that
A thorn feels pain
That it only gives pain.
