“The Road to Suicide”

Slowly a single tear streams down her face
Her boyfriend told her she's been replaced
She tries to hide the pain she feels
She thinks the hurt will never heal
He was everything in her life
He told her he'd never say goodbye
Now he's gone and she's left alone
Nobody ever calls her on the phone
Her whole life fades to the color black
She wants so bad to have love back
The days seem to go by in a daze
Nothing anyone says can change this phase
He left her without a second glance
She just wants another chance
Now she feels like there is no one
Never feeling joy, happiness, or fun
Her parents don't notice her drastic change
Her whole lifestyle is rearranged
She sinks deeply into depression
Down the road of suicide she makes her progression
She can't remember why she wanted to live anymore
Her outlook on life has become poor
She writes a note of apology to her loved ones
Shakily she reaches out for the gun
In a daze, She presses it to her side
All she could focus on was wanting to die
The trigger pulled back, she released the pain
She will never feel sorrow, sadness, or hurt again
She falls to the ground and lets out her last breath
Finally she got what she'd wanted, her death
