love is sweet

like a candy

wonderful for a moment

then it hits

lightning quick

longing for something else

truth is revealed

by only time

seeming like you were wrong

still you know

with out a doubt

you are not the one to blame

external forces

out of control

everything you knew is not

to realize

that you have know

ever since the start

you then find

that you are

the only one you can trust

so it ends

not the book

but merely chapter one
