death and dying

people crying

a mother hears her children lying

rape and stealing

so appealing

to see the fruit of sin revealing

hope of ransom

arent you handsome

said with candy at hand to bribe some

unsuspecting

parents neglecting

to watch a child they keep forgetting

their mistakes

so he takes

one more hit now their hearts ache

its all your fault

no its not

she tries to block his hands but caught

two more blows

to her nose

broken bleeding to her mother she goes

she knocks one time

he commits a crime

a shot the door opens as the big clock chimes
