Right in front me
We are great friends
That I can see
But I have feelings for you,
that I have for no other
Could this be?
Or should I try to find another?
I only ask this to myself because
As much as I care
You are taken by a friend
And try to take you I do not dare

But I have these feelings for you
That I have hard time not to show
I want to show these feelings I have
But if I do
I’m afraid something could happen
That would hurt you
So do I sit in the vast darkness,
that is denial?
Or do I tell you
and pick up the phone and dial
My feelings are escalating
Do I dare say that I love thee
No, I can’t
How could this be?
You are taken by a friend
How could I feel this way?
Feel this way and not be able to act
I refuse to try and take you away
