I was yearning for attention
wanting someone to think I cared
I lied
I made my life seem big
It wasn't
I made it seem like I had it all
I didn't
I showed you fake proof of my material life
Why?
i don't know
I needed to know that I mattered
I needed to know there was a purpose for my life
But I was dumb
I had a purpose
but I couldn't see it
it was hiding in the fog of
hate
and
jealousy
