Every morning I wake up,
and your face is right there.
If I move,
it vanished not to be seen till the next morning.
Because of this,
I never want to wake up and I never want to move.
But when the sun shines on my face,
You are blinded from my eyes.
I'm afraid to wake up and find this all a dream.
I'm afraid to know that you were never there.
In my dreams,
I see you there and forever I want you to be.
But how can my dreams seem so real and never be real?
I know that it's time to move on,
and the future road must be taken,
But I choose to hold on to something so dear,
and pray for its return.
Even though that will never happen,
I know in my heart,
as long as it stays focused,
You will be by my side for an eternity to come.
Let this life only keep us parted for a little while,
so that when we meet in heaven,
our love will allow us to come together and live in peace.
