K, real quick, lemme explain that this is a sonnet. So, if it feels kind of
choppy, it's supposed to....
Only one red rose survives the first frost
A tear freezes before it hits the ground
A child’s dream is lost before it is found
The worth of hope seems less than its cost
The path of a fiend is best left uncrossed
The deepest sorrow can never be drowned
She’s seen them all, been dethroned more than crowned
But her fears and her frowns have all been tossed
See, all of her trials have made her stronger
She turns with new strength to face a new world
And right behind that new strength hope follows
A child’s laugh makes peace last a lil’ longer
A sweet breeze is caught in white sails unfurled
And this morn is met with sweet songs of swallows
