A Dying Love

He looks out into the world and
sees it for what it really is
A cold, dark abyss of nothingness
His hand tightly grasps his death
One last thought of her and he puts the bottle to his lips
He drinks slowly as the liquid flows down his throat and goes straight to
his heart
He falls to the ground and the bottle of poison slowly rolls out of his
lifeless hand
He slumbers now for eternity.
