during frightened times,
i'll x out my eyes,
so that i can hide from all the lies,
i'll x out my heart,
so that i will bleed,
bleed out all of my insecurities,
i'll cut off my ears,
so i can't hear,
all the stupid shit thats being passed around,
i'll lie awake,
and fear for daybreak,
and the release of all my tears
