sometimes i just want
to hide in the dark
but i can't stay there forever
becuase seeing the light
means putting up a fight
and that is something i can't handle
and here in the dark
nobody can find me
nobody can hurt me or harm me
i'm safe in here
away from my fears
where no one can scare or alarm me
and it's cowardly to hide
but it's hard to face the light
becuase even here in my comforting dark
i have to face the light of reality
