When I want to feel safe, my thoughts turn to you
When I want to feel warm, my emotions turn to you
When I want to feel cherished, my feelings turn to you
When I want to feel cheerful, my mind turns to you
When I want to feel relaxed, my heart turns to you

I read your words, my heart gets lost in the moment
I feel your emotion, my mind feels at ease
My smile grows bigger every time I am near you

I open my eyes and it is like you are right there
I can see your eyes
I can feel your hands
I can smell your scent
I can hear you breathe

Yet I awake to find it is all a dream
Except for one thing
Your thoughts are with me
Constantly
