I didnt believe what i heard,
I hit the ground,
couldnt say a word.
it couldn't be real,
couldn't be true,
it was something i would never expect from you.
so hard, so strong,
you were the shoulder i cried on.
you needed me and i wasnt there,
I could've helped,
its just not fair.
now I look up at the sky,
and fight the urge to cry,
I stare at the stars,
and wonder where you are,
I needed you more then i realized,
I never thought I'd have to say goodbye,
so now when I lay me down to sleep,
I know bobbys looking out for me.
