As I sit back ans wonder,
I wonder where you are,
But then I realize that you're so far,
I remember when we went to the lake,
And how we both knew our love wasn't fake,
How you made your mom go too,
Just so my grandmother would let me go with you,
That was a great summer,
Though sometimes around me you did stutter,
I wish that summer could forever last,
I want to go back to the past,
So that I'd never have to leave your side,
So I could cheer you up each time you cried,
With you I feel like the whole world is yours and mine,
So where are you now,
Now that I am down,
I was always there for you,
And you were there for me too,
Even when we were eight,
We knew that being together was our fate,
I wish you were here now,
Together we could face the world and scream and shout!
