Once upon a time a smile ran across my face,
I wasn't sure if it was love's embrace,
I was so happy and full of joy,
You were the coolest boy,
The war I fight with myself ended,
You taught me how to be independent,
I forgot about all the bad things,
It was you who did this,
If it wasn't for you I'd never know the feeling of a smile,
I'm no longer a little broken child.
