The hardest thing I have to do
Is to admit to you how i feel
To tell you that I like you
And to show my feelings are real.

You might have noticed I said like
Because I’m not really sure about love
All I know is that you’ve changed my life
You’re like an angel from above.

I’ve never felt this way before
It’s very odd and strange
But I wouldn’t trade it for anything
It’s good to feel a change.

For example, before I met you
My world was a dark blue
But my dark and lonely days turned bright
when you came into view.

It’s just so very hard for me
To write words about this passion inside.
So I’ll try my best to tell you
About these feelings that I hide.

When I’m with you I cannot stop
The smile that spreads across my lips
And i get the funniest feeling
When we accidentally brush fingertips.

And when you play a game you love
And your team happens to win,
You get the cutest smile on
It makes me want to sin.

And when we talk in study hall
My heart almost jumps from my chest,
I want so bad to be what you want
So I just keep trying my best.

Sometimes I consider talking to my doctor
About this huge lump in my throat
That always happens to pop up
Every time that I write you a note.

Now this poem is a feeble attempt
To show you how much I care,
I just hope that when I gain up courage to tell you,
You’ll still be standing there.
