It's what you wanted me to see.
I've stared at you for hours on end..
Puzzled, I couldn't at first comprehend
How. Just how you could be so confident--
Saying each and every word that you assured me you meant.
We've gone through so much together,
You said it would continue for forever.
An eternity is what we promised each other.
