You feel it again
Building back up
The anger the sorrow
The lies and the tears
The foes and the woes
The thoughts and the fears.
Watch it take over
And take total control
Then you live with the toll
Of the scar and the blood
And your departing soul
Lost in an endless black hole
Of nothingness.
And in the nothingness lies lives
Taken by themselves with the motto
Why bother living? Everyone dies.
But we all have problems
And our low moments and highs
So why not rise to the occasion
And be stronger than it
And forget about the what if’s and why’s
Every hour forty-five another life has gone
Will never see another dusk or dawn
Because they’ve withdrawn
Themselves from this world.
But taking your life is a permanent choice
For a temporary question
So rejoice everyday that you live
Because someday you might give
Into the temptation
Whether you slash your wrists
Hang the noose, shoot the gun,
Or take the pill
It’s not yourself you’ll be hurting
It’s your loved ones you’ll kill
And you did it at your own will
To save yourself.
