Life and Love

With life come love
Or is it the other way around?
We fly around with no answers, like a dove.
For this we are bound.
Does love even exist?
Or is it a state of mind?
We seek answers amidst,
The echo of our question is all we find.
Still no answers, our minds wonder,
The meaning of life and love is in shroud.
Endlessly searching around while we blunder,
Their meaning eludes us like a wavering cloud.
Just out of reach,
From our hand,
Our fingers still can’t breach,
And touch the meaning, its sad.
Two simple words: love and life,
With their complex meanings,
We won’t know them ‘till we go above
And there we find that lovin’ feelin’.
The ones that are lucky enough to find,
Love and life together,
Should take this to mind:
Cherish them forever,
For if you lose but one,
The other is sure to follow,
and would be worse than getting shot by a gun.
All that’s left if for you to wallow.
