You always seemed to know when something was wrong,
You wouldn't leave for so long

You knew when I felt bad,
Because I would look really sad

I always had to tell,
And then you would make me feel swell

You did tell me all those sweet things,
That only felt like wonderful dreams

You called me your “BABYGIRL”,
Which made me feel as special, as a rare pearl

You said once you wanted a tattoo of an angel,
Because I made you feel safe and stable

You said it would always remind you of me,
Because its me you wish you could see

You always knew how to make me smile,
Yet it did take awhile

You are my first love,
Like a sweet dove

You'll see things in a different light,
When your all alone in the night,

You and I are very much the same,
But, to you love is just a game

You say I’m like your mother,
Well, my mom says you, could be my brother

You like alcohol and drugs,
Well, I love kisses and hugs

You say you’re in love, but not with me,
It’s with your alcohol and drugs, that I see!

Whenever you leave,
It’s hard to believe

But, it’s like your stabbing me in the heart,
With a sharp jagged dart

It’s severs through my skin,
Like a hot burning pin

Whenever you drink your whiskey and rye,
All it does is make me cry

Whenever I don’t know where you are,
All I need to do is know where the alcohol and drugs are

You always come up with excuses,
Whenever it comes to your alcohol and drug uses

All you are, is filled with dead promises,
You don’t care how much it destroys me, when you don’t keep those promises

You just show how lazy you are,
You’ve stopped showing me how much you care

You’d rather just sleep,
Instead of having me to keep

You wish you could be freed from me,
Instead of wanting to be seen with me
