It was almost a year ago,
we lost you.
We all very much miss you.

Wish we could hug you and kiss you.
Tell you we love you,
And just hear your laugh.

Never, will we forget that happiness you brought.
You always brightended up a room,
with your wonderful personality.

You put up a tought fight,
for 10 years of your life you held on.
And then, it got the very best of you.

It took control of you,
and took you from us.
And now, its your birthday today.

A day we would normally celebrate,
But, its not the same,
Its the first birthday without you here.

Gosh, its all so weird.
I wish you could be here,
To wipe all the tears I still have yet to cry.

You were always there to make me smile,
And i thank you.
I love you...
