Love Is Real

She sits alone in the corner of her room.
With her hands in her lap, shes thinking of you..
tilts her head down and her hair shields her face
she crys because no one can take your place
shes known you so long, thought we were close
but you never loved her it was all a hoax
maybe one day you'll see what you've done..
you broke her heart just for fun..
How cruel are you
How heartless can you be.
look what you've done
look how you hurt me..
Lifes been so hard
But I'm still here..
I can't go on without you I fear..
You once held me while I cried..
Told me you loved me, wiped the tears from my eyes.
But it was just another untruthful fact..
Her heart is broken and she can't glue it back
Her hand quivers when she thinks of her past.
She knew this relationship would never last.
She trembles silently in this morbid place.
Dressed in black velvet and black lace.
She takes your hand, and you feel her cold..
You took the hand that you swore you'd never hold..
Her eyes are red and shine with crystal tears,
Look what you've done through all these years..
she upturns her face torwards the sun's golden light..
She has to leave to make things right.
The rays caress her face as she rises above..
She blows a kiss to you, her love.
And with this, shes gone like a bird..
She flys off, and she'll never return.
Gone to a place where she can heal..
To a place where the love is real..
