Every Night

I put my head down on the pillow

I close my eyes

But I do not sleep

My minds awake with flowing thoughts

Of my past present and future

No one comes to mind but you

And I wonder why it’s you that’s haunting my thoughts

I close my eyes and I remember

Everything that once was

My emotions rise

My heart starts to pound

Tears form around my eyes

My body starts to feel weak

And I start to feel confused

I ask myself where’s my boo

Then it hits me you aren’t mine anymore

Your gone...your friendship is gone

I have nothing left but empty memories

But the pain is getting less and less

I get stronger day by day

The memories fade out

Your face leaves my thoughts

The tears get dry

But then I put my head down on the pillow

And I close my eyes but I do not sleep

And it starts again…everynight everytime…
