Just a girl?
Well I'm more than that,
there's more to me.
Look into my eyes

Just some "pretty" green eyes?
Well look a little deeper,
you may be surprised

I'm young...
yet know many things
I'm alone...
yet have many friends
I'm out in the open...
yet I hide so much

I'm more than just a girl...
I'm a daughter, a sister, a student,
a best friend, a girlfriend, a poet.
I am simply a dreamer
who only dreams of being happy.
These are more than just some pretty green eyes...
Look closely and you'll see there is pain,
fear, lonelyness, and heartache.
There is the thought of disappointment,
second-guessing,"What decisions do i make?"

I'm wise...
yet make the wrong choices
I'm emotional...
yet I can no longer feel
I'm strong...
yet broken down on the inside

Let me look at you,
I'll tell you what I see.
I see a coward.
I see nothing, no feelings at all,
just someone who continues to hurt me.
Let me look into you're eyes,
I'll tell you what I see.
Disrespect, dishonesty, and lies.
I see fear of letting go,
but then I see fear of being compared to other guys.

You're love...
yet you've broughten me hate
You're happiness...
yet you've broughten me tears
You're concious...
yet unaware of what's really going on
