Don't?

Don't put me down with your condescending brutality
Don't shatter the parallel mirror
With shards so sharp, bursting fragile veins
Don't twist my words until they become a
Nightmarish lullaby
And don't force me into reality

Don't take away my dreams and break them
Don't try to put me in a 2 dimensional box
Don't suffocate my heart and watch as I squirm
Beneath your spell
Or stand silently in enveloped shadows
Bottled up emotions in a gridded universe

Don't try to break the wings I use to fly
Or tatter the page I hid in blotchy letters
Of subliminal messages
Don't push me off the edge
Or break the silver threads tethering me to reality
And then I will bend to your hearts desires
And you won't have to watch me bleed
Or listen to me cry
