broken hearts
broken dreams
ripped apart
torn at the seams
my dying wishes
lost to reality
constant battle with myself
neverending duality
sumtimes i feel empty
like no-one understands
as i sit here tears fall silently
into my trembling hands
in a room full of people
still feeling alone
to the world i am happy
to them my true emotions are unknown

i am alone
