A Broken Love

As I sway in the air, full of life and happiness, I feel the light touch of
the warm air sweep from under my petals, and his hand softly grip my stem
awaiting her arrival to the door, for once she arrives he will give her the
poem he’d been writing from his inner passions, “I’ve only had dreams of
beauty as divine as yours, a voice as sweet as yours, a touch as gentle, and
a laugh as soft, but now I realize you’re the angel in my dreams that I’ve
been looking for, and I could only ask you take this flower and take the
young boy in love with this angel” and then he would hope she’d take this
beautiful flower, and love him in return, but what was suppose to be the
warm gentle touch of her hand, Instead I felt a cold rocky ground beneath
me.. For she did not love him, so he left me on the doorstep and ran, he
tried running away from everything, everything that had made him happy in
this world, but everything had suddenly turned against him, and now he did
not even have a flowers petal to wipe away the tears, the tears of a broken
love.
