Kissing me softly and caressing my skin
I never wanted those moments to end
But one day
You moved away
And now all I can think about
Is the time we shared together
And wonder what would have happened if you stayed
I wish you would have stayed
Then my heart wouldn’t be torn to pieces like it is
And I wouldn’t be crying myself to sleep every night
Everything was going so wonderfully one moment
Then the next I was alone
My heart still longs for you to come back to me
My skin still craves for your gentle touches
My lips still need you sweet kisses
And my ears long for you to whisper sweet nothings
My friends tell me that I need to move on
But no matter how hard I try
All I can do is think of your smiling face
And the way you used to hold me in your sweet embrace
Only time will tell what will happen from here
